Affinity Bloc: Sub-Saharan African Peoples

Overview: Kru refers to a linguistic group found today in southwest Côte d'Ivoire and southern Liberia. The people groups that comprise the Kru people cluster tend to live along the Atlantic coast where they make their living as fishermen and subsistence farmers. Christianity and traditional animist beliefs are widely practiced among these peoples.
